What to Swap?
Garden:
hand tools, pots, rakes, shovels, pruners, clippers, wheelbarrows, heat mats, lights, rain barrels, tarps, row cover, garden books, etc.
Homestead:
dehydrators, canning jars, canners, crocks, fermentation gear, beekeeping equipment, food/grain mills, small farm animal supplies (but no animals!), candle-making supplies, looms and fibre arts gear, homesteading books, etc
How to Swap:
We are still finalizing the swap structure, but we’d like to move beyond direct/swap barter, to reduce limitations of needing to find something you want from someone who wants what you have. Stay tuned for details. And if you have experience hosting swaps, please feel welcome to reach out to share your insights!
11am: Arrive and check in. Set out and organize swap goods.
12pm-2pm: Swap, share info and stories about items, and participate in the additional activities available.
We will post a PDF you can print, cut, and fill out to make info tags for any items that have special instructions or a story behind them that you’d like to share.
Low pressure RSVP:
If you think you might come, consider an RSVP to help us get an idea of numbers. This is non-committal, and you can show up whether you RSVP or not.
